We at Silicon have seen when it comes to any E.R.P. discussions, people starts thinking from inside “not again” and try to change the discussion to a newer topic. But really it is not that bad they way we think it is. We would try to share few insights on E.R.P. and put across few “food for thought” for you to sleep over.
Today we had opportunity to meet over multiple number of organization profiles in the past 8 years, which we met for ERP implementation, custom software development, financial accounting software etc. Trust us, the customer expectation is very simple. They share the following:-
- we are simple company and we have a very simple business requirement.
- we want our business basics to be within a single system, which is partly computerized and partly manual.
once we see it that it is running smoothly, we will surely take things forward to add more functionality.
Customers of today, are willing to take a conscious call, for which if it needs to have serious discussion they will go ahead and do the same. They are also aware what could be the estimated pay-out for the engagement. The challenge is not spending the challenge they are going through is to identify the right partner for them.
Currently, with an experience of handling 200+ customers and 40+ implemented projects in our kitty, we have started understanding customers have need and they have the spending power but no right partner. Silicon Systems had always tried to achieve that sweet spot and constantly achieving results and proving time and again as the right partner for their customer.
We at Silicon had observed the training asks is increasing day-by-day. Initially training had not been our core focus business line. Due course we have seen the demand is increasing and the most important area is that nowadays customer wants to be less dependent on the vendor to drive their business. They are willing to put that extra hours to learn and operate and be independent. For us it had been an another new services which our customer loved.
